There are about 1.6 billion Muslims in the world. Muslims make up a majority of the population in 49 countries of the world. Around 62% of the world's Muslims live in south or southeast Asia.
Islam is the fastest growing religion in the world (faster than the world's population) (one in four people). Eighty per cent are Sunnis, 12% are Shias, and 1% are others. About 2.1% live in Europe.
No Muslim bears the sin of another; they do not believe in Original Sin.
Muslims believe in all God prophets, all God Holy books, in all God angels, and a second, eternal life.
Muslims are required to treat all non-Muslims kindly and with tolerance.
Muslims follow the teachings of the Koran and of the Prophet Muhammad per his sayings and practices.
Muslims do not believe in the Trinity (Father, Son, and Holy Ghost). They believe there is one God, Allah (one God, the same God ofludaism and Christianity), and Mohammad was God's messenger.
