============== Concerning missing classmates: I browsed through the Soc Security Death Index at http://ssdi.rootsweb.ancestry.com/ looking for PA SSN, born 1939+/-3 years, died 2002+/-10years. Search is limited by married names, the person must have been receiving SS benefits (old or handicapped), proper spelling of names (For example, what is the proper name for Lonnie?) And not be too common a name, ex. John Davis has dozens meeting the search criteria.) I did not have middle initials to narrow the search. Death or residence location is obviously not local or someone on the committee would know. Date for Laurel Horner Irrgang was easy to confirm, she lived in Prospect Park. My point is there are ways to find some of our people on the internet if we have enough clues to search/filter with as birth date, proper names, married name, and recent states. When candidates are found, then a few phone calls can be rewarding.
